Synthetic Marijuana Testing Available

We are now offering a new drug panel for "spice". According to the National Institute of Drug Abuse, spice refers to a wide variety of herbal mixtures that produce an experience similar to marijuana and that are marketed as "safe", legal alternatives to that drug. These products contain dried, shredded plant material and chemical additives that are responsible for their psychoactive (mind-altering) effects. We are hearing that this alternative to marijuana is being marketed as "legal weed" but in fact, the DEA has designated the five active chemicals most frequently found in Spice as Schedule 1 controlled substances, making it illegal to sell, buy, or possess them. If you would like to tests for these chemicals pre-employment or in random drug tests we now have that option. Its not an instant test, but negative results are typically returned to us within 24 hours of the test so you will have fast results.
